The following eligibility criteria to organisations wanting to apply for funds from the Bank of New Zealand Save the Kiwi Trust:

 

1.      Organisations must fall within one of the following organisational classifications:

-         Department of Conservation office

-         University, zoo and/or recognised research facility

-         Registered charitable trust, charitable foundation,

     or charitable organisation

-         Incorporated society

-         Kiwi conservation group, association, or society

-         Landcare group

 

Please Note:
Individuals are not eligible for funding by the Bank of New Zealand Save the Kiwi Trust.

 

2.      Community-based organisations applying to the Trust for

funding support must produce, as part of their ongoing

operating procedure, an Annual Report and an Annual

Financial Statement.


Please Note:
The Trust may require an organisation to provide copies of
both documents in support of its funding application.

 

3.      The Trust will only reimburse expenses to and in the name

of the funded organisation.

 

4.      All kiwi-related conservation work undertaken by an

organisation must be properly permitted under the

Wildlife Act as administered by the Department of

Conservation.
